Pre-entry

Pre-entry

siprotect provides the following functions on pre-entry

Group 1545-min

How does siprotect do this ?

Perimeter Security

The Pre-entry layer includes firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and access control mechanisms. Firewalls analyse and control incoming and outgoing network traffic based on predefined security rules. IPS inspects network
traffic for suspicious patterns or known attack signatures to block malicious traffic.

DDoS Mitigation

Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks attempt to overwhelm a network or system with a massive influx of traffic. Pre-entry security may employ DDoS mitigation solutions to detect and mitigate these attacks before they reach the core infrastructure. (Note: DDoS protection is an On Request chargeable additional service for all customer deployments)

Network Segmentation

Dividing the network into segments or zones, limiting the lateral movement of attackers if they manage to breach the Pre-entry layer.

Security Policy Enforcement

Policies, such as access control lists (ACLs), are used to control and regulate traffic flow based on predefined security rules.
